Product Details

Indications:

+ Aids and supports autolytic debridement and indicated for the management of lightly to moderately exuding wounds.

Uses:

+ Diabetic foot ulcers

+ 1st and 2nd degree burns

+ Donor sites

+ Traumatic wounds

+ Surgical wounds

+ Pressure ulcers / sores (partial and full thickness)

+ Leg ulcers (venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers and leg ulcers of mixed etiology)

How to apply:

+ Remove cap from tube and remove sterile seal

+ Cleanse the wound area as necessary prior to application

+ Apply either directly to wound bed or onto suitable primary dressing such as alginate, gauze pad or island dressing

+ Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing

Contraindications:

+ 3rd degree burns

+ Patients with a known sensitivity to honey

+ To control heavy bleeding
