Description:

ChitoHeal Gel is a primary bioactive dressing, suitable for all types of superficial wounds. It is a powerful wound healing product, forming a secondary skin on the site of wound protecting and healing it at the same time.

Chitosan has been widely used in wound healing, including burn wounds. ChitoHeal gel, novel chitosan-based gel, is studied to assess the effectiveness and rate of wound healing in all types of wounds and second degree burns compared to traditional wound dressings. The result of recent studies show that it is likely to be important for the development of novel strategies for wound healing using ChitoHeal gel.

Faster wound healing and re-epithelialization of wounds could result in the reduction of collagen deposition, hence preventing severe scar formation.
