The breathable OPSITE Film forms the outer surface of the ALLEVYN Tracheostomy dressing, preventing leakage of secretions through the front of the dressing, providing an easy clean surface and acting as a barrier to liquids.

Indications

ALLEVYN Tracheostomy is a soft, conformable non-adherent dressing indicated for the management of fluid, secretion, or exudate build-up associated with the use of tracheostomy tubes.

Precautions

ALLEVYN Tracheostomy dressings should not be reused. Do not use ALLEVYN Tracheostomy dressings with oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solutions (eg. Dakins) or hydrogel peroxide, as these can break down the absorbent polyurethane component of the dressing.
